The 328 GTB appeared in 1985 as the successor to the previous 308 series. The basic style by Pininfarina is close to the 308, but each part has been refined, and the engine has been expanded to 3.2 liters based on the 308. The 328 was the last model to feature the traditional horizontal midship layout, and it remains popular today.
