This is a die-cast metal, plastic or resin display car model.
This is a Tomica Limited Vintage (LV) model, specifically LV-206a featuring the 1966 Toyota Toyopet Crown Custom in green.
Key Features:
The second-generation Toyopet Crown was introduced in 1962 and included van and wagon body options. Vans were registered as Masterline, while wagons were treated as Crown Custom. Notable changes occurred in 1965 when the front end was extended, anticipating the introduction of a 6-cylinder engine. After a slight exterior modification the following year, the Masterline name disappeared in 1967 with a generational shift.
In this TLV release, the 1966 model of the Crown Custom is brought to life. The elongated body, based on the second-generation Crown, is stylish with its thin and long roof. This model represents the normal version of the Crown Custom. The base model, the S40 series Crown's early sedan, was first released by TLV (LV-03) in January 2004. This model allows enthusiasts to reflect on the changes in TLV and die-cast miniatures over approximately two decades.
