TOMICA LIMITED VINTAGE
LV-201a Subaru Sambar Light Van Hot Dog Shop (Yellow/Black) w/Figure
New specification of the first generation Sambar
LV-201a comes with some new molds and accessories
Let's collect nostalgic Showa-era commercial vehicles!
The first-generation Subaru Sambar, launched in 1961, was a commercial vehicle that utilized the rear engine and rear drive mechanism developed for the Subaru 360, and was characterized by its wide cargo bed and soft suspension in a cab-over style, which was rare at the time.
Even after the model change in 1966, the above features were inherited during the period of in-house production, and sublimated into the unique charm of the Sambar that could not be found anywhere else.
TLV commercialized the first-generation Sambar Light Van in 2006.
This time, we will add a new variation after a long time.
The LV-201a has added roof parts, signs, and other parts to create the specifications of a mobile hot dog stand that was often seen at tourist spots in those days.
This type of hot dog stands were often based on the Sambar, and many of you may remember them.
The LV-27c is in the well-known "Bridgestone" color.
Both are nostalgic specifications of Showa-era commercial vehicles.
