Description
This is a posable doll with real fabric clothing, designed for collectors.
This action figure depicts a Feldwebel from the Fallschimjager FJR3 that took part in the invasion of Crete in 1940. This division wrested control of Crete from the British in May 1940 but suffered as many as 6000 casualties in doing so.
He is carrying a MP-40 with extra clips, water bottles, bread bag and gas mask canister. His uniform is typical of the time with woolen pants and jacket as there were not enough tropical uniforms to go around. The face on this figure is one of the best I have seen from Dragon and depicts the intensity so common in soldiers facing close combat.
