Here's an excellent 1/6-scale action doll from Medicom depicting Koichi Todome dressed in his Protect Gear as seen in Mamoru Oshii's 1987 live-action movie "Akai Megane," a.k.a. "The Red Spectacles." The helmet, mask, and body armor are realistically reproduced, and painted with a fantastic black finish. The included Mauser Military pistol can be hidden beneath the armor on his left arm, and the MG34 heavy machine gun can attach to his detachable backpack. Another noteworthy feature is the jumpsuit made of artificial leather and cloth, masterfully stitched to fit perfectly on a RAH301 Kai articulated inner body.
