This is an injection-plastic field gun model kit.

The M2 heavy machine gun was developed by Browning and adopted by the U.S. military in 1933. Since it has a caliber of 0.50 inches, it came to be known as the Caliber 50. It was carried and used by infantry during World War II, and it was also mounted on vehicles such as jeeps and armored vehicles; it also was used as anti-aircraft in combination with twin mounts or quadruple mounts. It was also installed on aircraft. When operated by infantry, it required a team of three, and had a dedicated tripod. After the war, it was adopted in many Western countries as a standard heavy machine gun, and is still active in various conflicts around the world. It's said that more than 3 million of this gun have been produced, including licensed production in other countries.
