The 1990-91 TV anime series "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" is remembered as one of the most pivotal anime from that decade, with its tale set in the late 19th century, a time of great scientific advancement. Now Prime 1 Studio brings us a lovely portrait display of Nadia and Jean, the protagonists of the series, as part of their "Concept Masterline" series! Jean is seated on a small, luxurious sofa, wearing his diving suit with his helmet under his arm; Nadia perches nearby holding a scale model of a glider, while the lion cub King gazes up at Jean. Jean's quiet confidence combined with the gentle arc of Nadia's pose and her soft smile make it seem as if they're posing for a portrait; this display is loaded with details such as the texture of the rough floorboards, the metallic gleam of the helmet and the fittings on Jean's diving suit, and the rope attached to the block-and-tackle that Jean holds in his right hand.
