Hot Toys celebrates the 60th anniversary of Marvel's "Avengers" with a "Masterpiece Diecast" version of the classic comic book version of Iron Man! Iron Man first appeared in 1963, co-created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Tony Stark, the CEO of the giant military corporation Stark Industries and a genius inventor, is a superhero who fights wearing a high-tech powered suit that he developed himself. In addition to appearing in comics, he has appeared in numerous anime and games, and was made into a live-action movie in 2008, driving the popularity of the hugely successful Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is truly one of Marvel's greatest characters!
The classic comic Iron Man design is now transformed into a high-end 1/6-scale action figure with over 30 points of articulation! This figure aims for further fidelity by using alloy for 60 percent of the entire item, and while it has the same range of motion as the previous series, it also has a heavy metallic texture and a solid body. Two different heads are included; the first is a newly designed helmet with a light-up function, and the second is a new version of Tony Stark's head. The red-and-yellow suit, with its rounded design, uses industry-leading painting technology to create the comic art-style vivid colors and high gloss. The chest armor can be removed to display the light-blue chest with its interior exposed. The air flap on the back of the body can be opened and closed; the eyes, chest, arc reactor, and repulsor beam-emitting parts on both hands are equipped with LED light-up gimmicks that emit white light. Interchangeable hands with individually posable fingers and repulsor ray light-up parts are included, as are hands in a comic-book style. This figure also comes with rollers that can be attached to the feet as an accessory! The base is specially designed with a comic-style Iron Man logo and diorama parts of a powered-suit attachment machine.
