Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Experience the iconic German tank from World War II, the Tiger I, in an easy-to-handle 1/56 scale model.
About the actual vehicle:
The German Tiger I tank showcased its formidable power with the powerful 88mm cannon, overwhelming Allied and Soviet forces. Its linear body design boasted heavy armor with a thickness of 100mm at the front, making it one of the most representative tanks of World War II in terms of both offensive and defensive capabilities. Production started in 1942, and once assigned to heavy tank battalions, it demonstrated its power on the North African and Eastern Fronts. Production continued until 1944, with various improvements made along the way. From a certain point, vehicles equipped with Zimmerit coating were introduced to prevent magnetic mines. These heavy tanks were gradually deployed, showcasing the effectiveness of the 88mm cannon across various battlefields.
About the model:
This model is a plastic assembly kit that replicates the German heavy tank Tiger I from World War II at a 1/56 scale. The kit depicts a vehicle with Zimmerit coating used during the later stages of the war. Parts for the body and turret accurately reflect the coated surface. The completed model measures 147mm in length. Its robust appearance, composed of flat surfaces, is realistically recreated. The turret is precisely shaped, and the side parts of the turret also model the attached spare tracks as a single piece. The lower chassis features a staggered layout of road wheels, integrated into one part. Additionally, the tracks are represented in two segments, top and bottom. This kit brilliantly balances easy assembly with a realistic finish, making it a great choice for beginners looking for a straightforward project.
