This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The IM-99 Bomarc is a long-range surface-to-air missile developed by the U.S. Air Force to intercept Soviet bombers; it was initially named F-99 because it was deployed as an unmanned fighter aircraft. After its maiden flight in 1952, the U.S. Air Force renamed the conventional variant the IM-99. The Bomarc's long range of about 400 kilometers forced neighboring countries to stop the development of interceptor fighters, and had a great impact on each country technically. The IM-99 is capable of remote launch with an automated control system used by NORAD, and remained in service with the U.S. and Canadian Air Forces until 1972.
This model kit is a re-release of the kit released by Revell in 1959. It comes with decals for three versions. Place your order today!
