This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Zerbe Air Sedan is a multiplane developed by American university professor James Zerbe in 1918. It had a bus-like fuselage with four wings, and no tail or ailerons. It is believed that the engine used was a LeRhone 9J taken from an old French fighter aircraft. The Air Sedan was completed in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and made its first (and only) flight in 1919. It is said that it gained an altitude of about 30 meters, flew about 300 meters, and then crashed, when it was significantly damaged. Shortly after that, Professor Zerbe left town, and was never seen or heard from again (he died in New York in 1921); the Air Sedan itself was abandoned, and its ultimate fate is unknown.
