This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Completely new 1/48 Vultee Vengeance MK.II mold from Ukraine's DRAWINGS!
The Vengeance was a dive bomber developed by the American Vultee Corporation and operated mainly by the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force.
Vultee developed the new dive bomber "Model 72 (V-72)" with a powerful Wright R2600 engine, strong armament, and a sturdy fuselage in response to an order from France, but when France surrendered to Germany, the Royal Air Force ordered the model under the name "Vengeance" instead. The United States, which was the country that produced the aircraft, ordered a number of different models.
In the United States, the country of production, nearly 2,000 of each model were produced, but they were rarely used in actual combat, being used as spares or training planes.
However, in the Royal Air Force, which took delivery of the aircraft in 1942, it was used mainly in the Burma and India areas against the Japanese, and in the Royal Australian Air Force, it was very active mainly on the Papua New Guinea front.
The kit includes painted mask stickers, four Royal Australian Air Force decals, and etched parts.
The control surfaces are all separate parts, and the bomb bay doors are supplied in two versions, open or closed, and the canopy can also be opened or closed.
When completed, the aircraft will measure approximately 252mm in length and 305mm in width.
