About the actual aircraft:
The AH-64 Apache Longbow has been in service since 1996 with the United States Army, the United Kingdom, and Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force, among others around the world. This variant of the AH-64 Apache features a dome on top of the main rotor that houses the AN/APG-78 Longbow radar. It possesses extensive ground radar capabilities for target detection. Additionally, it boasts heavy armament, including the M230A1 30mm chain gun, AGM-114 Hellfire anti-tank missiles, AIM-92 Stinger air-to-air missiles, and Hydra 70mm rocket pods, earning it the reputation as one of the world's most formidable combat helicopters.

This model is a 1/48 scale plastic assembly kit that replicates the AH-64D Apache Longbow, an attack helicopter used worldwide. The tandem two-seat layout and radar mounted on top of the rotor are accurately depicted, resulting in a finished length of approximately 310mm. The cockpit features detailed representations of the instrument panel and control sticks. Armaments such as the 30mm M230 chain gun mounted underneath the fuselage and Hellfire missiles on the stub wings are also included. The kit includes markings for a total of five variants, including those of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
