Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Accurate Miniatures' Avengers have been hailed as the best kits of a WWII US Navy type ever, and they deserve all those accolades. About the only detail that could justifiably be said to be missing is wing fold detail. The engine, cockpit, landing gear, and weapons bay are as detailed as they come in injection plastic. Decals are included for two TBM-1C of VT-51 flown by George H.W. Bush, "his" plane "X-2" as well as "X-3," the plane he was shot down in over Chichi Jima. Also included are decals for the RNZAF TBF-1C "Plonky."
