Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
From the manufacturer:
Considered by many to be the ultimate Spitfires, the F.Mk.22 and 24 shared only a passing resemblance to their early Spitfire ancestors designed a decade before. Powered by a more powerful Griffon engine and fitted with larger tail surfaces and a cut-down rear fuselage, these were the most capable and highest performing Spitfires to see service with the RAF. Too late to see action in WWII, they were only made in small numbers and were withdrawn from front-line service in 1951.
Completed model measures 217mm long with a 234mm wingspan.
