This 1/48-scale set from Fine Molds includes a seatbelt for use with the Lockheed C-2 ejection seat, and a cockpit rear-view mirror from an F-104 fighter jet. It can be widely adapted for use with seats in not only the F-104, but also jet fighters from the 1950s. Although the seatbelt is made of plastic, it is flexible enough to be bent and twisted freely with your fingers or tweezers, yet is highly resistant to breakage. This allows it to smoothly fit the shape of the seat on the aircraft. It can also be used with plastic model glues and paints, with the paint adhering to the parts thanks to the excellent adhesion that only plastic can provide.
