Kitty Hawk Model brings us their 1/48 SA.365N Dauphin II plastic model kit. The SA.365N is a medium-sized twin-engine helicopter developed by Aerospatial (now known as Airbus Helicopters), and is sometimes called Dauphin II because it was based on the SA.360 Dauphin. This machine features high speed and a long cruising range; it is frequently used in firefighting, disaster prevention, medical and police operations, and also for transportation of goods and personnel. Navies and Coast Guards also often use this helicopter, and there are military derivatives specialized for anti-tank attack, anti-submarine and rescue. The SA.365N is an upgraded version of the SA.365C with the engine replaced with an Ariel 1C.
