The PGM-19 Jupiter Missile is a missile straight out of history. It was created in the early days of the U.S. missile development of the 1950s and was the first USAF nuclear-tipped MRBM. It's notable for series of suborbital biological test flights in which animals rode in the nose cone. In the first test on December 13th, 1958, an American squirrel monkey did not survive. But in another test on May 28th the next year a rhesus monkey and a South American squirrel monkey survived in good condition. Get this piece of history for your collection. Order today!
