This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The MS.406 is a fighter aircraft designed and manufactured by Morane Saulnier in France; it made its first flight in 1935, and mass production began in 1938. This aircraft adopted a modern design such as a low-wing monoplane, retractable landing gear, and an enclosed windshield, but the rear fuselage was covered in fabric. Approximately 600 of this aircraft were handed over to the military at the beginning of World War II, and they fought against the German Army along with the Hawk 75 imported from the United States. On June 8, 1940, M.S. 406, piloted by Captain Robert Willam, shot down three Bf 109s in 15 seconds. The MS.406 was also operated by Switzerland, Finland, Turkey and other nations, and the aircraft used by the Finnish Air Force in particular fought hard against the Soviet Union during the Continuation War.
This model kit by Dora Wings is a completely new mold! The aileron, rudder, and elevator are separate parts, and the canopy can be built opened or closed. The interior of the cockpit and the landing gear hangar are carefully reproduced; photo-etched parts, painting mask stickers, and decals for four French Army versions are included.
