This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
During the Pacific War, the Japanese Army's Type 100 headquarters reconnaissance aircraft was used for strategic reconnaissance missions. The Type III, which followed the Types I and II, was equipped with two Mitsubishi Ha112-II engines with an output of 1300 horsepower. A large windshield that draws a smooth line from the nose and a cowling that smooth envelopes the engine have all been thoroughly pursued to reduce aerodynamic drag, achieving a speed of 630km/h -- the fastest of any commercial aircraft in Japan. It took part in actual combat from 1945, and continued to fly intelligence-gathering missions in Southeast Asia and the Pacific theater.
The world's first practical four-wheel-drive vehicle, developed on the requirements of the Japanese Army, was the Type 95 compact passenger car, also known as the Kurogane Shiki. Approximately 4,800 units were produced, and it was also used by the Army Air Corps.
Tamiya's 1/48-scale model kit of the Mitsubishi Ki 46 III Type 100 reproduces its beautiful flowing style that pursues aerodynamic performance exactly like that of the actual aircraft. The large windshield is made of six clear parts to reproduce a smooth shape; the interior of the cockpit, including the pilot's seat and the scout's seat with a large aerial camera, is finished with a sense of precision. one pilot figure and one scout figure are included, and decals for four versions are included.
The Kurogane Shiki's unique rounded style is modeled with a high sense of reality; the vehicle's height and large-diameter tires are captured. The hood can be assembled folded or unfolded. The star mark on the front grille is reproduced by combining the inlet mark and a decal; a standing officer figure and a driver figure are included. Order yours today!
