This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

This kit from Mikro Mir is an entirely new mold! The MD-120 is a tip jet crane/helicopter that first flew in 1957. The MD-120 is capable of not only suspending cargo from a wire for carrying, but also holding cargo at the center of gravity behind the cockpit; it is also able to carry cargo with a dedicated removable module system known as a pod. Tip jets have advantages over normal drive shaft systems, since the need for a tail rotor is not a factor, but they are also plagued with poor fuel economy and high noise levels. Due to these and other factors, only two prototypes of the MD-120 were constructed.

This injection plastic kit comes with photo-etched parts and decals for multiple versions. A pod for transporting troops is included as an optional part. Order yours today!
