This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The second tank in Aoshima's Remote Control Plastic Model series is the Type 90 MBT in 1/48 scale!

The Type 90 entered service in 1990 as the third-generation MBT with some of the most advanced battle tank technology. It has composite antiballistic armor on the front of the tank and turret. The main gun is the 120mm smoothbore cannon with automatic loader that boasts a high long-range hit rate, aided by improved gun stability with its fire control system and laser rangefinder. The autoloader allows the tank to be operated with only 3 crew members.

The completed model is powered by two FA-130 motors and will need batteries (not included) to operate. It uses a 2CH remote control system; with a 2CH remote (sold separately), the model can move forward and backward and rotate left and right. The remote box is easy to assemble, and the gear box comes preassembled. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver (+) to complete assembly of this model.
