This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Dora Wings brings us a completely new-mold 1/48-scale model kit of the early version of the Caudron-Renault CR.714C! This aircraft was developed by the French company Caudron, and was used in World War II. It was based on the C.561, a speed-competition machine that recorded a maximum speed of 550km/h in 1936. The prototype flew for the first time in September 1938, and after successful flight tests, 200 were ordered. Although the CR.714 was equipped with a weak 450-horsepower engine, it excelled in speed and climb due to its elegant body style inherited from racer plans. Although it was inferior in performance to other fighter aircraft in production at the time, the French Army was equipped with a Renault engine that did not hinder the production of other military aircraft; since the CR.714 was made of wood, it was easy to produce, and the aircraft were wanted as soon as possible. Delivery of production aircraft began in 1939, and 14 of the initial deliveries were mainly organized by exiled Poles. The total production number of this aircraft was less than one hundred.
