Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

A new injection kit from Ukrainian manufacturer Drawings is now available.

The Caudron Simoun is a 4-seat, single-wing touring aircraft with a streamlined wooden body designed and produced by the French company Caudron in the 1930s. The aircraft, known for its superior aerodynamics, saw an influx of orders from private aviators and commercial airlines immediately after its announcement. By the time World War II broke out, companies like Aeropostale had adopted the aircraft for domestic postal transport.

The C.635, a mass-produced version, featured an improved cabin layout and was equipped with either the Renault 6Q-01 or 6Q-09 engine. A total of 46 civilian and 489 military versions were built.

The kit includes photo-etched parts, paint mask seals, and 4 types of military decals (2 for the French Air Force, 1 for the French Navy, and 1 for the Polish Air Force in France).

Dimensions when completed:

  • Length: approximately 181mm
  • Wingspan: approximately 216mm
