This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Breguet 14 was a French World War I biplane bomber/reconnaissance aircraft. It was designed by Louis Bregeut and first flew in 1916. The Breguet 14 used more metal than wood for its structural material, making it as strong as a wooden aircraft but lighter which allowed it to fly faster than its contemporaries. It also had excellent maneuverability. This machine was ordered not only by the French Army, but also by the Belgian Army and the U.S. Army Air Department, and other air forces such as Poland, Brazil, China, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Japan, Thailand Uruguay and Spain. A French aviation training group came to Japan in 1919 and used the Bregeut 14 B.2 to train the Army Air Corps. Approximately 5,500 of this aircraft were produced by the end of World War I, with many variations produced during the war. After the war, civilian production began, and the total production of each type is said to be about 8,000.
