This is a set of optional parts for detailing ship models.
This is a kit that recreates the engine room of the RMS Titanic, the tragic luxury liner that was completed in the UK in 1912 and sank after striking an iceberg on her maiden voyage, resulting in a great loss of life.
Unlike aftermarket detail-up parts for Academy kits, this is a standalone complete kit of the engine room itself.
The model depicts a cutaway-style view of the ship's forward lower section, featuring 24 boilers arranged in rows, the main engines consisting of two reciprocating units and one turbine, three propeller shafts, and screws.
The kit includes 55 parts, mainly 3D-printed, along with a display base plate, one etched sheet, and pre-cut sandpaper to replicate coal.
Product dimensions: Length 490mm x Width 71mm x Height 56.5mm
3D printed
