Description
This is a resin or white metal ship model kit.
Yankee Modelworks of the US is a maker of fine full resin kits, resin conversion kits, resin detail sets, and photo-etched metal detail sets.
Although small, 212 feet (just 7 inches (17.78cm) in 1/350), the U-35 sank more enemy ships before or since WW I. The U-35 accounted for no less than 224 ships worth 535,900 tons. Armed with just two 88mm guns and 4 torpedo tubes, two in the bow and two in the stern, the record is even more remarkable.
The kit features a single piece hull, with a small photo-etched brass sheet makes up most of the details.
