This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
Wars can't be won without supplies, so it's not a stretch to say that the Liberty Ships of the allied fleets went a very long way in securing victory in WWII. With 2,751 of these cargo ships being built in 18 American shipyards during the four-year period between 1941 and 1945, the Liberty Ship was the most-produced single design of any US Navy ship. Many ships survived the war, and made up a big part of the postwar cargo fleet. Only two still remain operational today, as museum ships: the Jeremiah O'Brien and the SS John W. Brown.
Trumpeter's kit of the Liberty ship SS John W. Brown is crisply molded in gray plastic, featuring great detail throughout. All that cargo derrick rigging is up to you, though! A fine representation of one of the most important designs of WWII, if not exactly the most glamorous. About 38.5cm long when complete.
