Description

This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about science-fiction subjects related to anime and/or modeling.

Hachette Japan brings us an incredibly detailed, 1/350-scale Hyuga, the combat carrier  that's the linchpin of the 65th Escort Fleet in "Space Battleship Yamato 2202"! Like most Hachette kits, this version arrives in a series of weekly magazines, with each magazine containing a few more parts, which you assemble as they arrive. When you've received all issues of the magazine and your assembly is complete, you'll have an insanely detailed, majestic 1/350-scale replica of the Hyuga to display, loaded with movable gimmicks and lots of lighting for extra awesomeness!

The exterior of the Hyuga's hull is die-cast for a profound feeling of weight coupled with a sharp silhouette. The Dreadnought-class Wave Cannon is illuminated to reproduce firing scenes; the 30.5cm triple convergent compression shockwave turret, equipped with two central units on the front deck, can turn left and right, and its barrel can move up and down; the muzzle also has a light gimmick. The Hyuga's characteristically shaped bridge also has a light-emitting gimmick, as does the dimensional wave propulsion engine at the stern. The biggest feature of the Hyuga, its angled diagonal flight deck, is sharply reproduced, and carrier-based aircraft such as the Cosmo Python and Cosmo Tiger II can be displayed. The front deck opens and closes to store the Cosmo Seagulls, and the elevator to move the Cosmo Python and Cosmo Tiger II to the deck is also reproduced. You can also remove the deck parts to view the twin-cylinder hangar for the carrier-based spacecraft! In addition, the departure and arrival ports for the carrier-based craft at the bottom of the hull can be opened and closed.

Any fan of "Space Battleship Yamato" needs this magnificent model kit in their collection -- place your order today!
