This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

The 1/350 Battleship Yamashiro (1943, Showa Year 18) with Imperial Navy crew figures is now available in a special production version!

This large-scale 1/350 model allows for detailed expression and accurate recreation. The set includes pre-cut paper decals, such as signal flags, naval flags, and the ensign, for added authenticity. Also, a nameplate decal for display purposes is included. This model is based on the Yamashiro's appearance from 1943, before the installation of the 21cm radar on the bridge.

The set comes with 353 unpainted figure parts, representing both officers and sailors in summer and winter uniforms (2 types, 5 runners in total). The figures can be painted to represent either summer or winter attire. A variety of poses is available, with 11 different postures, including standing, saluting, walking, operating anti-aircraft guns and machine guns, peering through binoculars, and carrying ammunition.
