This is a set of optional parts for detailing ship models.
The Musashi was the second Yamato-class battleship built by the Imperial Japanese Navy, and was named after a province in Japan. This ship, along with the first Yamato, was the largest and only super-dreadnought battleship ever to be equipped with a 46cm gun, and was the last battleship built by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Musashi was incorporated into the First Squadron of the First Fleet in August 1942, arriving at the Truk Islands anchorage in January of the following year, and became the flagship of the Combined Fleet in February. In June 1944, she participated in the Battle of the Mariana Islands along with Yamato, and was sunk by an attack by American aircraft in the Battle of Sibuyan Sea, the opening battle of the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944.
This model kit of the Musashi is the third collaboration between Very Fire and Beaver Corporation! This set of 3D-printed parts, brass laths, photo-etched parts and wooden deck sheets will help add an incredible level of detail to the 1/350 Musashi. Place your order today!
