Enter the Leyte Gulf! Battleship Haruna confronted with the US military as part of the main unit of the Sho-1 Go operation. Following the previously released 1/350 Haruna that was based on its form during the battle in Mariana, we're now recreating its appearance from its very last battle!
Battleship Haruna was built at the Kawasaki Shipyards in Kobe, and was deployed as part of the Third Battleship Division in 1941. It was refurbished twice before the Pacific War. Among the battleship group, Haruna played a vital role in escorting aircraft carriers, providing cover for air attacks, and so on. It survived the Sho-1 Go operation, but was later sunk in 1945.
