This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.
An incredibly detailed model of Japan's first Antarctic observation ship, the Soya. This release celebrates the 50th anniversary of Japan's first expedition to Antarctica (1956-2006).
This limited edition kit includes two white metal snow cars, a Cessna, and a helicopter. Also includes a very nice 48-page color and b&w reference booklet (all text in Japanese). A great model of an interesting and unusual subject.
