This is a resin-cast military vehicle model kit.

The Scammell Pioneer Tank Transporter was a pre-WWII design for an off-road recovery vehicle, and was based on a modified version of the Scammell Pioneer SV/2S tractor. This model uses the later 30 ton trailer, with extended rear loading ramps, and was capable of recovering all Allied AFV's (Including the Churchill...in an emergency).

The vehicle served with recovery and tank transporter units in all British theatres of operation from the Western Desert to N.W. Europe, and for a time, post-war. This 1/35th scale model by Brian Fawcett features complete engine, gearbox and drive train detail, cab interior detail and opening doors.

Realistic 'bulged' tyres are supplied throughout, and the suspension is fully adjustable. A full set of planks, jacks and recovery equipment is also supplied, along with an extensive full colour decal set. The completed model is 20" (51cm) long. Tank kit not included!
