This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.
This 3-pack figure set reproduces infantrymen wearing the WWII Soviet Red Army's "MPK" (modified river crossing equipment).
The MPK was personal equipment adopted by the Soviet Red Army in 1939 for crossing rivers with currents of up to 1.5 m. It consisted of rubber boots with a body, a pneumatic floatation ring, and two oars, and could move at a speed of 5 to 15 m per minute and handle water depths up to 120 cm.
There were three figures: one commander wearing an officer's cap and carrying a PPSh-41 short machine gun, one soldier with a DPM light machine gun, and one carrying a Mosin Nagan M1891/30 rifle.
All are shown equipped with MPKs, wearing rubber boots with bodies, with floats on their waists and oars in their hands.
This is a great figure set with excellent detail and reproduction of natural poses.
