These troops participated in the fighting at Dieppe, where the Allied landing operations took place in 1942. The figures feature taut poses to capture the tension of advancing through an urban environment while keeping a vigilant watch on their surroundings. The commander figure, depicted aiming an MP28 submachine gun, wears an M1938 peaked cap (NCO type) and a pea jacket. A soldier wearing a field cap holds a Kar98K rifle fitted with a bayonet, while a helmeted machine gunner walks with an MG34 slung over his shoulder. This figure set is particularly appealing for its accurate depiction of the unique uniforms worn by the Naval infantry.
