This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Panzer IV Ausf. D, one of the main battle tanks of the German Army during World War II. The kit features a deluxe specification including an aluminum gun barrel, 3D-printed muzzle brake, and Magic Tracks.

[About the Real Vehicle]
Among the German tanks that saw active service throughout World War II, the Panzer IV series can be considered a main battle tank. Designed as a support tank, its relatively spacious chassis allowed for various upgrades. Many variants were produced and deployed until the end of the war. The first mass-produced version of the Panzer IV was the Ausf. D, with over 200 units built between October 1939 and May 1941. It featured a straight-edged hull and turret, equipped with a short-barreled 7.5 cm KwK37/L24 gun. The armor on the sides and rear of the hull was also thickened. As the war progressed, the main gun's power was deemed insufficient, leading to modifications in some Ausf. D units, which were equipped with the long-barreled 7.5 cm KwK.40/L43 gun, a design later adopted for the Ausf. F and G models.
