This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The M4 Sherman, a medium tank used by the U.S. military in World War II, is one of the tanks that played a key role in the victory of the Allied Forces due to its performance, as well as mass American industrial production. There were various types; among them, the M4, which is called a hybrid body or composite type, was a unique combination of cast parts for the front part of the hull and welded parts for the rear. The main gun was a 75mm tank gun, and the engine was a Continental R975 star gasoline engine. Over 1,600 of this vehicle were produced at the Detroit Tank Arsenal from August to December 1943. Because it was equipped with a gasoline engine, it was mainly provided to the British Army as a subject of the lend-lease law in Europe, and in the Pacific Front, it fought against the Japanese Army as the main battle tank of the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.
This model kit from Dragon features Magic Tracks modeled after the T48 track; a slide mold is used to accurately reproduce the shape of each track. The difference between the cast hull at the front and the welded hull at the rear is well expressed. 3D printed parts are provided for the headlights to enhance the finish, and the turret is slide-molded for a realistic surface texture. A metal gun barrel is included, complete with rifling. Order yours today!
