This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Hetzer is a tank destroyer developed and produced by BMM in the Czech Republic during World War II. The Hetzer, which was developed using many components of the 38t tank, had a fixed battle compartment with tilted armor on a small body, and it was equipped with a 7.5cm Pak39 anti-tank gun. Mass production started in 1944; 2,584 of this vehicle were produced by the end of the war, and they were deployed in tank destroyer battalions and armored grenadier divisions, active on each front. Following the extremely early model that started production in April 1944, the type produced from May to July of that year is called the initial production model; the holes around the driving wheel were reduced in order to improve productivity.
This model kit from Dragon reproduces the initial production version of the German tank destroyer Hetzer. The Hetzer's unique style is realistically reproduced, such as its low, sharp battle compartment surrounded by sloped armor and a main gun offset to the right. The in-vehicle machine gun attached to the upper part of the hull, the rear exhaust pipe, the weld marks on the hull, and the cast surface are all loaded with details. The starting wheel firmly duplicates the characteristics of the initial type; the 7.5cm gun has an aluminum barrel with recreated rifling, and details such as the sighting device are also reproduced in detail. The tracks are partly integrated and partly articulated Neo tracks, allowing you to easily reproduce the natural slack. Order yours today!
