About the actual vehicle:

The Hetzer was a tank destroyer developed and produced by the Czech company BMM during World War II.

Developed using many components of the 38t tank, the Hetzer had a small chassis with a fixed, sloping-armored fighting compartment and was equipped with a 7.5cm Pak 39 anti-tank gun.

Mass production began in 1944, and by the end of the war, 2,584 Hetzers had been produced. They were deployed in tank destroyer battalions and armored grenadier divisions, and were active on all fronts.

In addition, several derivatives were produced, and the flame-throwing tank was developed in November 1944.

Instead of a main gun, it was equipped with a 1.4cm flamethrower.

It is said that 20 vehicles were produced.

This plastic model assembly kit reproduces the German tank destroyer Hetzer in 1/35 scale.
