This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Among the German tanks of World War II, the Panzer IV series was their main battle tank that was active throughout the war. It was planned as a support tank, and thanks to its relatively spacious body design, it was able to respond to various upgrades. The first mass-produced type among the many types of Panzer IV is the D type; over 200 of this version were produced from October 1939 to May 1941. The body and turret have a linear design, and its main gun was a short-barreled 7.5cm tank gun, the K2K37/L24. It was also characterized by thicker armor on the sides and rear of the hull. Starting with the invasion of France, this tank was active on a wide range of fronts, including the North African Front and the Eastern Front. In the German African Corps, the 4th and 8th companies of the 5th Armored Regiment used this tank with tropical specifications on the African front.
This detailed model kit from AK Interactive brings us the Panzer IV D type. This is the German African Corps version, with tropical specifications used on the North African front in 1941; a figure of an African Corps tank soldier is included. The figure is 3D-printed, with an accurately reproduced uniform, seated with binoculars in hand. The powerful form of the Panzer IV D type equipped with a short barrel is reproduced down to the smallest detail; the rubber part of the road wheel is a separate part, and the track is an assembly part. The DAK specifications are reproduced in high detail, such as the engine deck hatch. Photo-etched parts are included for the in-vehicle tools, smoke grenade racks, fenders and more; decals for eight vehicles that were active on the North African front in 1941 are included too.
