This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Panzer II was active as an early main battle tank that supported the German Army's rapid advance in World War II, which continued to achieve overwhelming victories in the blitzkrieg battle that took advantage of its mobility. In 1934, the development of the Panzer II began immediately after production of the Panzer I began, and the prototype version of the Panzer II was completed in 1935. Further prototypes and improvements continued after that, and full-scale mass production began in 1937. In 1938, when it was formalized as the Panzer II, it was used as a main battle tank on various fronts, including the invasion of Poland, under the appearance of the Panzer III. The first mass-produced type was the Panzer II A type, and the C type was produced from 1938 until 1940. It was equipped with a Maybach HL62TRM inline six-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine. It carried one 55-caliber 2cm machine gun KwK30, and a 7.92mm machine gun MG34 as its main armament.

This model kit from Dragon realistically reproduces the Panzer II C type produced from 1938 to 1940, including the exterior and interior. The inside of the battle compartment and turret are both reproduced with great care. The communication equipment, ammunition storage rack, gearbox, and even the texture of the floor inside the battle compartment have been recreated. In addition, inside the turret, the main gun's 55-caliber 2cm KwK30 cannon, as well as the 7.92mm MG34 machine gun and ZF-4 scope, are carefully modeled to give a sense of density. The tank's shape, and that of the turret, is accurately modeled. The fender surface, engine compartment, and exhaust pipe with photo-etched parts are also realistic. The suspension area is accurately reproduced, from the drive sprocket and idler wheels to the road wheels. The tracks are Magic Tracks for added realism.
