This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Dragon brings us a 1/35-scale reproduction of the very early version of the German Tiger I tank! This kit uses Magic Tracks, an aluminum gun barrel, and the latest 3D-printed parts to reproduce the muzzle brake and engine deck grille for a more realistic finish. In addition, it can be built in any of three types: the 502nd Heavy Tank Battalion's turret No. 100, which is known for its unique style equipped with miscellaneous goods boxes on the left and right sides of the turret; the same turret No. 121, and the type equipped with a river-crossing snorkel. The miscellaneous goods boxes on both sides of the turret that were attached to tank No. 100 and the Gepekkasten for Panzer III that was attached to tank No. 121 are also included. In addition, for the type that was equipped with a snorkel, a cover part for the MG mount is also included, to accurately reproduce the river-crossing specifications. The features of the very early production model, such as the shape of the cupola and smoke discharger, are also accurately reproduced. Two soldier figures molded from DS material are also included, one of whom is a cameraman.
This luxurious kit also includes a newly created engine deck grille made with 3D printing, a set of two types of Bosch lights with different mounting racks, and photo-etched parts for the mesh screen on the engine deck. A bonus machined aluminum gun barrel, metal smoke bomb rack, and smoke bomb set are also included, as are bonus parts for buckets and crew uniforms. The hatches can be built opened or closed, too.
