This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The German Army, which emphasized mobility in World War II, developed a number of wheeled armored vehicles. Among them was the Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma. The body, which was intended for use on rough roads, had an elaborate mechanism of eight-wheel drive, eight-wheel independent suspension, and eight-wheel steering. It was equipped with a V-type twelve-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine, and its maximum speed was 80km/h. It was equipped with a swivel turret on the upper part, and armed with a Rheinmetall 60-caliber 5cm tank gun KwK39/1. Approximately 100 of this vehicle were produced and deployed from 1943 to 1944. One of the most famous variation types in the Sd.Kfz.234 series, it was deployed in armored reconnaissance companies during the war and was active in missions on each front.
This model kit from AK Interactive uses body parts by Dragon to reproduce the complicated mechanism of an eight-wheel drive vehicle in detail by finely dividing parts such as the suspension and drive train. The tires are made of plastic with a vertical division; the turret's shape and weld marks are realistically expressed. The barrel of the 50mm gun is an integral part that uses a slender mold, and the muzzle brake is also reproduced in detail. The driver's seat in the front and back -- a feature of eight-wheeled armored vehicles -- is also modeled. The loader hatch can be opened or closed, and photo-etched parts are included, as are decals for an amazing 12 versions by Cartograf. Order yours today!
