This 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit reproduces the German 8.8cm gun Flak 37 type, known as the masterpiece anti-aircraft gun of World War II.
About the 8.8cm gun:.
The German 8.8cm gun demonstrated high performance not only as an anti-aircraft gun but also as an anti-tank gun.
The 8.8cm gun was developed in 1928 by the Krupp company and was formalized as the Flak 18, followed by the Flak 36, an improved version of the Flak 18 that was used in the Spanish Civil War.
The Flak 37 was also equipped with a metered ballistic calculator.
In World War II, it was mainly deployed by the Air Force, and was also deployed by the Army, where it was used as an anti-aircraft gun and was also effective in anti-tank attacks.
It remained active until the end of the war and is known as one of the masterpieces of World War II.
