About the real vehicle:
It goes without saying that during World War II, railways were utilized in various ways as a means of transportation to maintain the front lines.
A wide variety of freight cars were mass-produced, playing a crucial role in the transport of supplies and personnel.
On the other hand, partisans resisting the German military and the Allied forces disrupted the railway network to cut off German supplies, carrying out sabotage actions such as bombing tracks and attacking with aircraft.
Armored locomotives appeared, and freight cars were equipped with anti-aircraft machine guns as countermeasures for their operations.
Among them, the 4-axle flatcars were designed to transport large military vehicles such as tanks.
There were two types of 4-axle flatcars with a maximum payload of 50 tons: the SSy type, produced after 1940 with a wheelbase of 6150mm, and the SSys type, produced after 1942 with a wheelbase of 7950mm.
Many of these freight cars were used for a long time in German railways even after the war.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit of the German military freight car that was mass-produced during World War II and played a role in transporting large military vehicles like tanks.
The model reproduces the SSys type of the 4-axle flatcar operated by Germany at that time.
The frame structure and 4-axle chassis, which ensure sufficient strength to carry large vehicles, also feature mechanical details such as leaf spring suspension.
Additionally, the wooden platform surface is delicately represented with engraved wood grain.
You can enjoy a realistic finish with this model.

Moreover, pillars to prevent cargo from falling off are modeled on both sides of the flatbed, allowing you to choose whether to assemble them attached or not.
