This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

Emphasizing mobility, the German Army developed a number of wheeled armored vehicles during World War II; one of them was the Sd.Kfz.234. This vehicle was required to run on rough roads, so it had an elaborate mechanism of eight-wheel-drive, eight-wheel independent suspension, and eight-wheel steering. It was equipped with a V-type 12-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine, and its maximum speed was 80km/h. Among the variations of this vehicle were the Sd.Kfz.234/3 armored reconnaissance vehicle, equipped with a 7.5cm short-barreled howitzer on its open-top body. From the middle of 1944 to the end of the same year, about 88 of this vehicle were produced.
