This model kit from Gecko Models was announced at the 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show! The LCA (Landing Craft Assault) was an assault landing craft that was widely used in World War II. The LCA developed in England was used not only by the British Army but also by special forces such as the U.S. Army Rangers as a means of maritime assault transport. Some LCAs were equipped with field-modified U.S. Army Ranger launchers for firing ropes with grappling hooks.
