Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Super-Heavy Self-Propelled Mortar Karl / Loki was a World War II German self-propelled siege mortar designed and built by Rheinmetall. Its heaviest munition was a 60cm diameter shell and the range for its lightest shell of 1,250kg was just over 10km. Each gun had to be accompanied by a crane, a two-piece heavy transport set of railcars, and several modified tanks to carry shells. In total, seven Karl-Gerat howitzers were manufactured. The first six had the nicknames Baldur, Wotan, Thor, Odin, Loki, and Ziu. The seventh had no name. Delivery of the six production vehicles took place from November 1940 to August 1941.

This kit reproduces the Loki in a 1/35 scale, measuring at approximately 30cm or more when completed. It also includes decals for the Ziu and Thor designs. It can be built in several different set-ups and modes.

A set of six German Artillery Crew are also included.
