This tank is armed with a 100mm stabilized tank gun, a 7.62mm PKT MG, and a 12.7mm DShK-M anti-aircraft MG. The ammunition supply consists of 43 rounds and more than 3,000 cartridges. The tank has four crew members: a commander, a gun layer, a loader, and a driver. The tank dozer BTU-55 is designed for digging trenches, breaching, clearing roads, making tracks, and more. The engineer company of the armored regiment had nine BTU-55 units.
